So, that was season one of Mob Psycho 100.

Without the mask, his voice sounds...normal. Just normal. In fact, all the Scars are being drawn as slightly less weird looking now, as well, to reinforce Arataka's point.

If he painted it red, would it have a faster swing? I think it might.

So far, this episode has been a welcome return to form while still continuing the Claw subplot.

This is One Punch Man without the comedy.

Remember how funny this show can be, sometimes? I hope it does that again soon.

Also, we see a close-up of him here, and boy I wasn't kidding when I said Chinzilla looks like something out of a Cronenberg-inspired drug trip.

Despite the unusually high concentration of jank, I do like where this seems to be going.

Looks like the wannabe-supervillain had his fortress raided and his subjects kidnapped by an actual supervillain.

This show is certainly getting heavier than I expected it to.

Mob Psycho 100 just started having a plot!

I have no idea what to say about this one.

Definitely more entertaining than the previous episode, and a return to form as far as ONE's style of heavy-handed satire is concerned.

Where we left off, Mob was still being mercilessly exploited by charlatan Arataka, who is using Mob's genuine psychic powers to make a name for himself as an exorcist. Thing were starting to go better at school, though; Mob had bent the knee to the Tokugawa Bakufu and joined the bodybuilding club, leaving the fake psychics to lose their dumb club due to insufficient membership.
